It Support Intern

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day IT support tasks for internal staff (hardware/software/network issues)
  
• Set up and configure desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  
• Monitor and respond to helpdesk tickets in a timely manner
  
• Troubleshoot issues related to Windows/Mac OS, printers, Wi-Fi, and office applications
  
• Support onboarding/offboarding processes (user accounts, access permissions, etc.)
  
• Document technical procedures and solutions in internal knowledge base
  
• Assist in maintaining IT inventory and asset management records
  
• Perform routine system updates and antivirus scans
  
• Collaborate with IT staff on ad hoc projects and initiatives
  

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  
• Basic understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
  
• Familiarity with operating systems like Windows, macOS, and common office software
  
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  
• Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude
  
• Ability to work independently and in a team
  

Preferred Skills (Bonus):

• Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or Google Workspace
  
• Basic networking knowledge (IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
  
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
