Job Description: IT Support Engineer / Systems Administrator

Location: District Center janakpuri

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer / Systems Administrator to manage and support our IT infrastructure, including Office 365, Windows Server environments, firewall and VPN configurations, and provide end-user support for desktop systems and peripherals. You will play a key role in ensuring system uptime, network security, and a seamless IT experience for staff through both remote and on-site support.

Key Responsibilities Office 365 & Microsoft Cloud: Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) Manage user accounts, licenses, and security groups via Microsoft 365 Admin Center Monitor and troubleshoot mail flow and connectivity issues Configure and enforce security policies (MFA, Conditional Access, etc.) Windows Server: Manage Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy) Perform server patching, backup/restore, and performance tuning Handle file shares, permissions, and print services Network & Security: Configure and manage firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, SonicWall, Sophos, etc.) Setup and maintain secure VPN connections (site-to-site and remote access) Monitor network activity and respond to security threats End-User Support: Provide remote and on-site technical support to end users Troubleshoot desktop/laptop issues (Windows/Mac), application errors, and hardware failures Configure and maintain printers, scanners, and other peripherals Install and update software, and manage updates and patches Documentation & Maintenance: Maintain detailed documentation of systems, procedures, and network diagrams Log support tickets and track resolution using a helpdesk or ticketing system Assist in IT inventory tracking and procurement

Requirements Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Admin Center, Exchange Online, Teams)

Hands-on experience with Windows Server (AD, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP)

Working knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and network security principles

Proficient in remote desktop tools, ticketing systems, and troubleshooting methods Basic scripting (PowerShell) a plus

Qualifications: Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, Microsoft 365 Certified, CompTIA Network+, Fortinet NSE, etc.) preferred

Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team

Preferred Experience Worked in a small to mid-size business or MSP (Managed Service Provider) Experience supporting remote users across different time zones Knowledge of cloud backup solutions, mobile device management (MDM), or endpoint security tools
