IT Support Engineer

Job Title:

IT Support Engineer (US Shift – EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) Hours)
Shift Timing: 08:30 AM to 05:30 PM EDT (Monday to Friday)
Work Mode: On-site – Kodambakkam, Chennai

Job Summary:

Naethra Technologies Pvt Ltd is looking for a proactive IT Support Engineer to provide on-site technical supportduring US business hours (EDT timezone). The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills with a neutral or US accent, strong hands-on experience in system, network, and printer troubleshooting, and basic exposure to AWS Cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site IT support during EDT business hours.
• Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, network, and printer-related issues.
• Troubleshoot email configuration and connectivity issues (Office 365/Gmail).
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and user account administration.
• Assist in basic AWS operations such as EC2, S3, and IAM management.
• Monitor system performance and escalate issues when required.
• Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and support activities.
• Collaborate with internal and client teams to ensure seamless IT operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2–4 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and basic Linux administration.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls).
• Experience troubleshooting printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Basic exposure to AWS Cloud services (preferred).
• Excellent English communication skills (US accent preferred).
• Willingness to work during US business hours (EDT timezone).

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or AWS Cloud Practitioner are a plus.
