IT Project Manager – integration/API management

As an IT Project Manager, you will be a key contributor in the success of major business sponsored technology projects and initiatives. You will work with various business stakeholders and internal partners to plan and projects. As a part of project execution, you will communicate in various formal and informal methods to convey project status, issues, conflicts, and risks. You will assist investigation of technical issues, bring ideas to the table, and partner with subject matter experts to action on them. You will bridge the technical teams and business stakeholders with careful attention to needs and requests, making sure information is logged and presented appropriately to both sides.

Job Requirements

• Provide decision making authority across all technical and business process related issues

• Commit the Delivery Model in conjunction with the approved Project Management Methodology.

• Ensure that contractual agreements with solution providers and vendors are managed

• Identify, maintain and manage project budgets

• Manage project to ensure that the project remains within agreed scope, schedule, cost and quality

• Ensure best value for Company in respect to negotiations / contracting with both internal and external suppliers

• Ensure funding arrangements are in place

• Manage scope to meet project deadlines with Customer and solution providers

• Provide project reports through IT PMO

• Identify team resources required in conjunction with all the Program Managers

• Form the project team

• Maintain resource capability across the project

• Ensures all projects are managed against a project plan and viable schedule

• Maintain resource capability across projects

• Promptly resolve project issues and remove associated project delays

• Manage project budget

Partnership

• Work closely with Business Engagement Manager to ensure a well-managed D&D IT Portfolio by understand, interpret, and disseminate project requirements, and reassess the selected approach for best fit.

• Partner with all applicable IT teams and the Business to successfully deliver projects per the agreed upon scope, schedule, and budget.

• Champion an agile mindset, effective change management processes, and innovation.

• Ensure business value realization and optimization, from value plans through consultancy, business case development, financial awareness, managing expectations, and identifying opportunities to add value.

• Measure and communicate business value realized with the business partner on a periodic basis.

IT Experience

• Hands-on Project Management/ project coordination/Business System Analysis experience in the implementing integration and API management solutions, preferably with expertise in Dell Boomi and MuleSoft

• Preferred subject matter expertise within one or more of the following functional areas:

o Technology oriented business transformation project management, and consultation

o Sound understanding of on-prem and cloud infrastructure.

o machine learning, artificial intelligence, recommendation engines, predictive modelling, analytics, and data visualisation.

•Subject matter expertise in several of following analytic areas: Qualifications

• Sound knowledge and experience in project planning and deliverables management.

• Strong stakeholders management experience with internal delivery managers and business executives.

• Strong presentation development skills.

• Experienced in multiple project methodologies.

• Excellent communicator, able to effectively communicate to a wide range of audiences at

all levels of the organization.

• Working knowledge of modern program management and tools (e.g. Confluence/Jira;

Azure DevOps; Smartsheet; MS Office;).

• Must be able to pull and manipulate data from tools to showcase progress, identify issues and help resolve them to ensure quality and timely project delivery.

• Independent, motivated, and detail oriented working style.

• 4 years Project/Program Management experience; 3 years of leadership experience.

• Bachelor's degree or Advanced degree preferred.

• PMP or Six Sigma certification desired.
