Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
- Design and architect end-to-end managed infrastructure solutions spanning on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments
- Develop technical blueprints and reference architectures for infrastructure services delivery. Establish being a trusted advisor to the clients in areas of Enterprise Service Management, Enterprise Monitoring and AIOps
- Design and present AIOps strategy to the clients
- Define service catalogs, SLAs, and operational procedures for managed services offerings
- Create disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for client infrastructures
Technical Leadership
- Lead technical assessments and infrastructure audits for prospective and existing clients
- Provide technical guidance on infrastructure modernization and cloud migration strategies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement automated provisioning and management solutions
- Oversee the integration of monitoring, alerting, and performance management tools
Service Management & Operations
- Implement ITIL-based service management processes and procedures
- Design operational runbooks and knowledge management systems
- Establish incident, problem, and change management workflows
- Define key performance indicators and service level agreements
Client Engagement
- Serve as technical subject matter expert during client engagements and presentations
- Conduct technical workshops and solution demonstrations
- Provide ongoing technical consultation and optimization recommendations
- Support pre-sales activities with technical expertise and solution design
Required Qualifications
Technical Expertise
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure architecture and management
- Strong knowledge of server virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, KVM)
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud architecture
- Proficiency in storage technologies including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage solutions
- Deep understanding of backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, Commvault, Azure Backup)
- Network infrastructure knowledge includes routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancing
- Database administration experience with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (SCOM, Nagios, Datadog, New Relic as examples)
- Endpoint management experience with tools like SCCM, Intune, or similar solutions
Service Management
- ITIL Foundation certification required; ITIL Expert or Master preferred
- Experience implementing IT Service Management tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira Service Management)
- Knowledge of cloud operations practices and DevOps methodologies
- Understanding of automation and orchestration tools (Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell)
Additional Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or higher and in the related field
- Relevant industry certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, VMware VCP, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, client facing and presentation abilities
- Experience with project management methodologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
- Able to travel for short visits and client presentations across the globe
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance requirements
- Previous experience in managed services or consulting environments
- Industry certifications in multiple technology domains
