Job Description / Responsibilities: We are looking for a MS SQL DBA to manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases to meet our company and client needs. This is a full-time contract position with remote work . The candidate is required to work at least 4 hours during TSG business time (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST). The work location is remote , and relocation is not required. However, flexibility regarding business hours may evolve based on your productivity, knowledge, and skills. Key Responsibilities: Database Installation & Configuration : Set up new SQL Server instances, configure them as per organizational requirements. Security Management : Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard data. Performance Tuning : Optimize SQL Server performance through query analysis, indexing, and more. Backup & Recovery : Develop and manage backup procedures and recovery plans. Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve database-related issues (performance, errors, connectivity). Data Management : Ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability. Monitoring : Continuously monitor the health and performance of SQL Server instances.
