Qualifications:

• Educational Background:

  Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).

Required Skill Set:

Azure Platform Expertise:

• Deep understanding of Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Experience with tools like Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, or Ansible for automating infrastructure deployment and management.

Automation and DevOps:

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and scripting languages such as PowerShell.

Networking:

• Knowledge of Azure networking concepts, such as virtual networks, subnets, and network security groups.

Security:

• Proficiency in Azure security services, including Azure Security Center, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Policy.

Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:

• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to Azure resources, applications, and infrastructure.

Cloud Service Models:

• Understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud service models and their impact.

Serverless Computing:

• Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, etc.

Containers and Orchestration:

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, etc.

Big Data and Analytics:

• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, etc.
  

We are seeking a qualified Azure Cloud Services expert to design, develop, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will be responsible for building and configuring infrastructure, managing applications, and ensuring security and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Solution Design & Implementation:

  Design and build cloud solutions that meet business requirements, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation. Develop and maintain applications within the Azure cloud using services like Azure App Service and Azure Functions.

• Azure Resource Management:

  Configure and manage virtual machines, storage accounts, networks, and other resources within the Azure environment.

• Security & Access Control:

  Implement security measures including access control, data protection, and threat detection using Azures security services.

• Performance Optimization:

  Monitor and optimize cloud applications and infrastructure for high availability and performance.

• Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution:

  Diagnose and resolve issues related to Azure resources, applications, and infrastructure.

• Automation & DevOps:

  Implement CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and manage infrastructure as code using Azure DevOps and other tools.

• Cost Management:

  Optimize cloud resource consumption to ensure cost efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Experience:

  Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in Azure cloud services.

• Skills:

  Proficiency in all the technical skills listed under "Required Skill Set."

Compensation:

• CTC:

  Based on skills and experience.

• Work Environment:

  This is a full-time, remote contract position for a Dallas, TX-based company.

• Work Hours:

  Must be available for at least 4 hours during the companys business hours (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST). The requirement may vary based on performance, productivity, and skill set.
