Job Location: Chennai

Experience Range: 6-10 Years

• Assist DevOps team to remediate network non-compliance, Application non-compliance.
• AWS SG and Azure NSG analysis and narrow down to more stricter rules.
• Familiarity with ticket and task handling in Jira and creating documentation in Confluence.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible and Python will be an added advantage.
• Cloud Networking incl. Cloud Connectivity (Azure, AWS, SoftLayer)
• Cloud Based Security Services – AWS WAF and Azure Guard Duty, Internet Connectivity
• Routing Protocols – BGP and Route propagation among CSPs.
• Cloud Connectivity – AWS Cloud WAN, Azure vWAN, Hub and Spoke Peering, Transit Gateway
• Network Security, IP Addressing (Schemas, VLANS), Firewalls
• AWS and Azure Load Balancers offerings, Site to Site VPN’s, Domain Name Services, Micro segmentation, All other IP Network based or reliant technologies, Cisco SDWAN.

The role will provide direction and authority in the following areas:

• Domain knowledge expert (Network) , Strategic Planning, Upgrade plans
• Define and track CSP standards, Evolve technical solutions., Strategic planning, Emerging technologies, Innovation
• Designs and diagrams – Visio and Lucid chart
• Publishing articles in the Network Domain (internal and external)
• Presenting on Technical symposiums (internal and external)
• Operations and Functional Duties Required:
• Manages day to day support of network services, equipment, and tools.
• Manages all request, issue and incident escalations.
• Manage network technical services strategy and drive annual planning process for network related teams.
• Point person on all SEV 1 / SEV 2 incident management. Responsible for ongoing quality improvement through an established Problem Management process.
• Develops and approves Root Cause Analysis (RCA’s) and drives proactive / preventive process improvement.
• Develops and evolves network Methods & Procedures (M&P’S) on an ongoing basis.
• Develops and manages projects and technical implementations related to networks, with minimal disruption to clients.
• Assists staff with troubleshooting, managing, and resolving technical issues with network infrastructure and services.
• Develops and manages projects and technical implementations to support our global network transition and transformation program.
• Develops and manages comprehensive cloud connectivity and exchange.
