Job Description

About the Role:

IT Innovation Strategist

Key Responsibilities:

Innovation Strategy Development:

Define and execute a clear IT innovation roadmap aligned with the companys strategic goals.
Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation across business units.
Analyze industry trends, emerging technologies, and market shifts to inform technology investments.

Emerging Technology Assessment:

Research and evaluate new and emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, edge computing, cloud, cybersecurity).
Assess technology readiness, scalability, and business impact.
Make recommendations for adoption or pilot programs.

Project Leadership & Execution:

Lead innovation projects from concept through to implementation.
Partner with cross-functional teams including product, operations, and IT to drive execution.
Establish metrics to evaluate the ROI of innovation initiatives.

Skills:

Strong understanding of enterprise IT ecosystems and modern tech stacks.
Analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of innovation frameworks (e.g., Lean Startup, Design Thinking, Agile).
Familiarity with tech trend analysis tools and innovation management platforms is a plus.
