Job Title: Direct Sales Manager – IT Hardware

About the Role:

Direct Sales Manager


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive

    direct sales

    of IT Hardware products and solutions to

    Government, PSU, and Defence clients

    .
  • Identify and develop

    new business opportunities

    within the public sector ecosystem.
  • Manage the

    entire sales cycle

    — from lead generation, bid participation, proposal submission, to order closure.
  • Build and maintain strong

    relationships with key decision-makers

    in

    Government Ministries, Departments, and PSUs

    .
  • Work closely with

    OEM partners, internal teams, and pre-sales

    to create effective hardware solutions for clients.
  • Stay updated on

    government tenders, procurement portals (GeM, eProcurement)

    , and policy changes impacting IT hardware sales.
  • Meet and exceed assigned

    sales and revenue targets

    .
  • Provide

    sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates

    to management regularly.


Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:

    B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science or Electronics & Communication, with

    MBA in Marketing

    .
  • Experience:

    4–5 years of experience in

    IT Hardware Direct Sales

    .
  • Proven experience in selling

    hardware products (servers, storage, networking, end-user devices, etc.)

    to

    Government, Defence, and PSU sectors

    .
  • Strong connects with

    Government Ministries, Departments, and PSUs

    .
  • Excellent

    presentation, communication, and negotiation

    skills.
  • Good understanding of

    government procurement and tendering processes

    .
  • Target-driven, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
