Job Title: IT ExecutiveIndustry: Restaurant & E-CommerceJob Summary:We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Executive to manage our restaurant’s IT infrastructure and provide support for our e-commerce operations. The role requires strong technical knowledge of both hardware and software, along with the ability to troubleshoot systems, maintain networks, and ensure smooth functioning of POS systems, online ordering platforms, and internal IT systems. Key Responsibilities:IT Infrastructure & Support Manage and maintain hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, servers, POS systems, and networking devices. Provide day-to-day technical support for staff across all departments. Install, configure, and update operating systems, software applications, and security tools. Troubleshoot IT issues (hardware, software, connectivity, and security). Monitor system performance and ensure minimum downtime. Restaurant IT Systems Maintain POS (Point of Sale) systems, billing software, and ensure accurate integration with financial records. Support digital menu boards, kitchen display systems, and other restaurant-specific technologies. Ensure data backup, recovery, and security of restaurant IT systems. E-Commerce & Online Platforms Support and manage online ordering platforms, aggregators, and third-party delivery integrations (Swiggy, Zomato, etc.). Ensure smooth functioning of restaurant website and e-commerce applications. Coordinate with vendors for updates, integrations, and troubleshooting. Monitor online transactions, resolve technical issues, and ensure seamless customer experience. Networking & Security Maintain and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity across outlets. Implement and manage firewalls, antivirus, and cybersecurity measures. Monitor data security, prevent unauthorized access, and ensure compliance with IT policies. Vendor & Team Coordination Liaise with IT vendors and service providers for procurement, AMC, and technical support. Provide IT training and guidance to staff where required. Maintain documentation of IT assets, licenses, and systems. Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in IT support, preferably in hospitality or retail industry. Strong knowledge of hardware, networking, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and software troubleshooting. Experience in POS systems, ERP, and e-commerce platforms. Familiarity with cloud-based tools, backup systems, and IT security protocols. Problem-solving mindset with ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and coordination skills.
