Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Associate to support our organization's technology infrastructure and end-users. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining hardware and software systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless operation of IT services. Key Responsibilities: Provide first-line technical support to employees via phone, email, or in person. Install, configure, and maintain hardware components such as desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Set up new user accounts and manage access controls (e.g., Active Directory, Office 365). Perform software installations, updates, and patches across systems. Monitor network performance and report or resolve issues promptly. Assist in maintaining inventory of IT assets and documentation. Ensure data backup and recovery systems are functioning correctly. Support cybersecurity measures and follow data protection protocols. Work with vendors and service providers as needed. Participate in IT projects including system upgrades and migrations. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience. 1–3 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role. Strong understanding of Windows and/or macOS environments. Familiarity with networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and basic scripting (PowerShell a plus). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Preferred Qualifications: IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals. Experience with remote desktop tools, ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow). Exposure to cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS).
