Job Description

As an IT Assistant at the International Solar Alliance (ISA), you will play a crucial role in managing technology services that meet the operational requirements of the organization. Reporting to the IT Analyst, your responsibilities will include providing technical support and assistance in various activities related to core information technology systems and services. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Technical Assistance:** - Support in maintenance of hardware, software, networks, cyber security, software licenses, mailbox license, data recovery, and data backup. - Assist in administration and configuration of Microsoft Office365 for staff, including other apps like SharePoint, lists, libraries, Groups, and an enterprise-level Microsoft Exchange infrastructure. - Provide training to end-users on Office365 capabilities and collaboration tools. - Assist in the preparation and implementation of Internet backup recovery plans. - Handle new user setup and orientation, troubleshooting various Office 365 issues. - **Application Management:** - Support activities related to ERP implementation. - Monitor Data Migration across applications to ensure data consistency and integrity. - Organize virtual events, video conferencing, webinars, and live streaming on Social Media for ISA. - Maintain a structured database. - **Web Assistance:** - Ensure website functionality and perform software updates. - Monitor, assess, and report on website performance. - Make adjustments to the CMS and design of the website as required. - **Security Maintenance:** - Maintain a safe and secure IT work environment. - Provide support for all IT infrastructure. - **Record Keeping:** - Maintain the IT assets/inventory. - Review vendor contracts/proposals and coordinate IT purchases (hardware, software, and services) to align with staff needs. - **Other support functions:** - Evaluate IT proposals from vendors. - Make recommendations for defining and delivering strategic plans for implementing information technologies. - Provide end-user support for all PC-based hardware, applications, and services. **Qualifications:** - **Education:** - Completion of secondary school education. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or Business Administration in Information Technology is desirable. - **Experience:** - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with Office automation Tools like Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and Power Point is desirable. - Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP is desirable. - Knowledge of Google Computing Platform (GCP) and LAN/WAN standards. - Proficiency in managing and administering enterprise-level Zoom/Teams deployment.,
