IT Activity Monitoring & Compliance Analyst

 

Location: Remote (UK)

Employment Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 2.30 PM – 10:30 PM)

Experience Level: Entry-Level / Graduate /Fresher

About the Role

We are seeking a highly observant and analytical individual to join our IT operations team as an IT Activity Monitoring & Compliance Analyst. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, has a strong sense of responsibility, and takes pride in maintaining operational integrity across digital systems.

You will be responsible for monitoring user activity, reviewing reports and alerts, identifying productivity gaps, and escalating potential risks or policy breaches. This position plays a key role in ensuring that company systems are used responsibly and efficiently. Full training will be provided on our internal monitoring and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities

·      Monitor user activity data and system usage reports throughout the workday.

·      Identify patterns of low productivity, idleness, or system misuse.

·      Review automated alerts, activity logs, and screenshots to detect time misuse or data risks.

·      Summarise and escalate potential issues to managers or the IT team promptly.

·      Prepare concise daily and weekly reports outlining key insights and recommendations.

·      Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.

·      Support management in reinforcing IT and data compliance policies.

Skills and Qualifications

·      Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify irregular patterns.

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·      Confident in using Microsoft Office and online reporting tools.

·      Good written and verbal communication skills.

·      Self-motivated, reliable, and discreet in handling confidential data.

Preferred Qualifications

·      Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field.

·      Interest in cybersecurity, compliance, or IT operations.

·      Previous internship or experience using system monitoring tools is beneficial but not essential.
