We are looking for an experienced WordPress & Shopify Developer who can not only build and customize websites for our clients. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with good communication skills, ensuring smooth collaboration between clients and our internal team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain websites on WordPress (themes, plugins, custom plugin development).
• Build and customize Shopify stores (themes, apps, custom coding, and developing from scratch).
• Collaborate directly with UK clients to understand requirements, gather feedback, and communicate updates clearly.
• Act as bridge between clients and technical teams, ensuring proper translation of requirements into deliverables.
• Implement custom-coded solutions tailored to project needs.
• Stay updated with the latest AI technologies, prompt engineering techniques, and automation tools to improve workflows.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize websites for performance and security.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time with high quality.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-4 years of development experience in WordPress and Shopify.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and custom development.
• Proven expertise in Shopify store setup, theme customization, app integration, and liquid template coding.
• Proficiency in web development languages and technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, Liquid, MySQL.
• Experience with Shopify and WordPress APIs.
• Familiarity with modern AI tools, automation platforms, and prompt writing.
• Ability to work independently on development tasks while managing client communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with international clients.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in integrations with third-party apps and platforms.
• Knowledge of SEO-friendly development and web performance optimization.
• Exposure to workflow automation tools (like n8n, Zapier, Make, etc.).
• Understanding of UI/UX practices and responsive design.
