Investment Banking Analyst

You will be responsible for leading the financial research vertical focused on investment banking within the company. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading the team in supporting M&A & ECM transactions by preparing various documents such as Information Memorandums, Roadshow presentations, financial models, valuations, etc. - Understanding client deliverables, defining engagement scope, delivering project plans to clients, managing timelines, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables. - Engaging and coordinating with various clients including investment banks, PE/VC funds, and corporates to cultivate strong relationships. - Supervising staffing, training, and managing a team of analysts and interns to ensure work completion within set timelines. - Collaborating with senior management in creating team budgets and achieving P&L targets. - Mentoring and coaching junior team members, offering guidance on financial analysis techniques and professional development. - Developing systems & processes, databases, firm-wide templates, and documents to standardize the quality of deliverables. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline (CA/CFA preferred). - Minimum of 5 years of core Investment Banking experience, preferably in M&A, capital markets, or strategic advisory. - Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, Excel, PowerPoint, and data platforms like Capital IQ, Pitchbook, or Bloomberg. - Proven track record in executing live deals, conducting due diligence, preparing pitch books, and creating client-ready financial analysis. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail and accuracy. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex financial concepts clearly. - Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently within tight deadlines. - Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.
