Role Overview

We’re seeking a dynamic and driven Investment Banking Analyst who excels at building relationships with founders and CXOs, understands the startup ecosystem, and is eager to support the growth of a high-impact deal pipeline. This is a client-facing, hands-on role that spans the full investment lifecycle — from lead generation and pitching to research, modeling, and execution support.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Origination

• Identify and qualify high-potential startup and growth-stage companies
• Research industry sectors, generate leads, and initiate outreach to founders/CXOs
• Assist in creating customized pitchbooks, teasers, and presentations
• Attend client meetings and follow up post-pitch with relevant materials

Deal Marketing & Execution Support

• Prepare investment decks, teasers, and financial snapshots
• Assist in deal marketing to institutional investors or strategic acquirers
• Support documentation and internal/external communication throughout the transaction process

Research & Financial Analysis

• Conduct market scans, peer benchmarking, and valuation comparables
• Build and update basic financial models, dashboards, and summaries

CRM, Reporting & Process Management

• Maintain up-to-date records in CRM systems
• Track progress of mandates and generate weekly/monthly reports for leadership

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s or MBA in Finance (preferred); CA or CFA Level I is a plus
• Experience: 6 months to 1 year in investment banking, startup fundraising, venture capital, private equity, or corporate finance
• Start-up Mindset: Exposure to startup fundraising, investor pitch decks, or ecosystem players
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable in founder/investor-facing roles
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; experience with CRM tools is a plus
• Work Style: High ownership, self-motivated, structured thinker who thrives under tight deadlines

Pay: ₹600,000.00 per year
