Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records (on-hand quantities, re-order levels, stock allocations, etc).
Plan and coordinate inventory replenishment to ensure sufficient stock without overstocking or stock-outs.
Perform cycle counts, physical counts, reconciliations, and analyse variances; implement corrective actions.
Manage supplier relationships, monitor supplier lead-time performance, and contribute to cost-efficiency efforts (negotiation, alternative sourcing).
Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and risk mitigation (e.g., obsolete stock, shrinkage, spoilage).
