Inventory Controller

Job Description

Role Summary We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Non-Perishable Controller to manage inventory, procurement, and stock health for all non-perishable products such as grains, pulses, dry fruits, oils, spices, and packaged foods. Key Responsibilities · Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal availability across SKUs · Track expiry dates, stock movement, and batch rotation (FIFO/FEFO) · Coordinate with suppliers and internal procurement for timely restocking · Plan and coordinate the daily packing of groceries, ensuring correct SKUs, accurate weights, and high quality standards are maintained · Perform regular inventory audits and variance analysis · Ensure proper storage conditions and hygiene standards in the warehouse · Identify slow/fast-moving items and flag any stock issues early · Manage inward GRN entries and shelf-life checks · Support dispatch and packaging teams with timely stock availability · Check for quality and packaging integrity before products go out for delivery Requirements · 2+ years of experience in inventory/store management (Grocery preferred) · Good understanding of non-perishable SKUs and their storage norms · Good Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with inventory software is a plus · Attention to detail, ownership mindset, and willingness to be hands-on · Ability to work with cross-functional teams (procurement, dispatch, ops) What We Offer · A purpose-driven, growing company in the organic food space · Opportunity to take ownership and grow into a supply chain leadership role · Competitive salary and performance-linked bonuses A passionate, tight-knit team and a culture of trust and transparency
