Job Title: Inventory Audit Executive

Job Summary:

The Inventory Audit Executive is responsible for conducting regular audits of stock across warehouses, stores, or operational locations. The role ensures accuracy of physical inventory, identifies discrepancies, maintains stock integrity, and supports operational efficiency through periodic reporting and coordination with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Auditing & Verification

• Conduct periodic physical inventory checks across assigned locations.
  
• Verify stock levels against system records (ERP/WMS).
  
• Identify, document, and investigate discrepancies.
  
• Update the system after audit completion, ensuring 100% accuracy.
  

2. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly audit reports.
  
• Maintain records of all stock movements, variances, and adjustments.
  
• Share audit findings with the Operations, Warehouse, and Finance teams.
  

3. Stock Management Support

• Monitor slow-moving, fast-moving, and near-expiry stock.
  
• Assist in cycle counts and year-end stock audits.
  
• Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and storage of inventory.
  

4. Compliance & Process Improvement

• Ensure adherence to inventory control policies and SOPs.
  
• Recommend corrective actions to reduce stock variances.
  
• Support implementation of process improvements to enhance accuracy.
  

5. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with warehouse managers, storekeepers, and cross-functional teams.
  
• Provide timely feedback on stock issues or operational gaps.
  
• Assist during external/internal audits.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Logistics, or related field.
  
• 1–3 years of experience in inventory audit/stock control/warehouse operations.
  
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  
• Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with ERP/WMS preferred.
  
• Good communication and documentation skills.
  
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Ability to travel between locations if required.
