As an Outbound Travel Operations Manager at EdTerra EdVenture, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and executing international educational tours for students. Your operational excellence and strong vendor management skills will be essential in ensuring seamless travel experiences aligned with EdTerra's quality standards. - Plan and execute outbound student tours to destinations such as Asia, Europe, and the USA, focusing on academic, safety, and experiential elements. - Manage end-to-end operations including travel bookings, visas, insurance, vendor coordination, and logistics management to guarantee a smooth tour experience. - Communicate effectively with schools, parents, and internal stakeholders for pre-tour briefings and post-tour debriefs. - Oversee group visa processing, ticketing coordination, and documentation to facilitate hassle-free travel arrangements. - Negotiate and maintain vendor contracts with airlines, hotels, and transport partners to ensure quality services at cost-effective rates. - Supervise on-tour support teams and implement risk management protocols to ensure the safety of all participants. - Create and update tour operation reports and budgets while delivering exceptional customer service at every stage of the travel lifecycle. - Keep abreast of international travel trends, regulations, and safety protocols to enhance the overall tour experience. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, or a related field is preferred. - 3-7 years of experience in outbound tour operations, particularly in educational/study tours or group travel. - Proficiency in visas, ticketing, and international travel documentation. - Strong vendor management and negotiation skills. - Excellent organizational, multitasking, and crisis management abilities. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders. - Proficiency in MS Office and travel operations software. - Willingness to travel as needed during peak operational periods.
