ABOUT THE ROLE:

In this role, your primary focus will be on developing the international A2P SMS business and expanding the company’s presence within the global messaging market.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

·      Participating in and implementing sales strategy in Messaging.

·      Trading activity - Account/Relationship Management (negotiating and concluding agreements with customers and suppliers).

·      Grow the existing accounts by developing new business and implementing innovative commercial approach.

·      Negotiate Cross-Deals between SMS and other product portfolios.

·      Achieving sales targets established by management by managing a portfolio of customers.

·      Business Development - identifying prospective customers, networking and building relationships with potential clients (carriers - aggregators, mobile operators, OTTs).

·      Monitor and analyze market trends and rates, providing market intelligence concerning regulatory changes, market dynamics, industry trends and competition activities.

·      Provide business inputs covering items such as price, quality of service, service features to message routing team.

·      Drive Sales and Development targets by identifying mutually beneficial solutions and fostering long-term business relationships with key partners.


Required skills:

·      Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

·      2+ years of experience in the messaging industry, including selling SMS products within the SMS wholesale domain; complementary experience in messaging area is valued.

·      Minimum 2 years of sales experience in A2P SMS; knowledge of additional messaging channels (RCS, WhatsApp Business, etc) is a plus.

·      Comprehensive know-how of A2P SMS services (business drivers, value chain, technical features) and main stakeholders in the Global Market

·      Self-drive and motivation to succeed, while demonstrating teamwork and transparency

·      Strong creative-thinking and problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused mindset

·      Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting relationships

·      Willingness to travel regularly, including customer visits and participation in industry events and conferences.

·      Fluency in English is required; other languages are a plus
