JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Qualified Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will bring 3 to 7 years of post-qualification experience in financial reporting, compliance, and operational finance. This role requires strong proficiency in Xero accounting software, solid technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.

Desired Experience Range: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage all day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure accurate cash flow management.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial controls and processes.
• Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support strategic planning.
• Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations and support external audit processes.
• Use Xero for financial data management, processing, and reporting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to provide financial insights for business decisions.
• Provide support and mentorship to junior finance staff when required.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
• 3 to 7 years of post-qualification experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
• Demonstrable experience using Xero accounting software.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulatory compliance, and financial standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial systems/tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills; fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a fast-paced, multi-entity, or international environment.
• Exposure to financial transformation projects or system implementation is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a remote or hybrid environment (if applicable).
