International Business Development & Export Compliance Manager

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Market Expansion & Strategy
• Identify new international markets for food exports (Asia, Middle East, EU, etc.).
• Conduct market research on demand, pricing, tariffs, and competitors.
• Develop strategies for entering new countries while maintaining profitability.
• Regulatory & Compliance Management
• Ensure compliance with international food safety standards (FDA, FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, EU Regulations, etc.).
• Handle customs documentation, trade tariffs, certificates of origin, and sanitary/phytosanitary requirements.
• Stay updated on export-import regulations, tariffs, and free trade agreements.
• Client & Partner Development
• Build and maintain relationships with international distributors, importers, and clients.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and logistics agreements with overseas partners.
• Explore partnerships with government export promotion councils and trade bodies.
• Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination
• Work with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs agents to ensure smooth delivery.
• Optimize shipping costs and routes while ensuring product quality.
• Monitor inventory levels for international orders.
• Documentation & Legal
• Prepare and verify export documents (invoice, packing list, Bill of Lading, certificate of origin, health certificate).
• Ensure compliance with local and destination country regulations.
• Handle trade finance processes (LCs, advance payments, insurance).
• Financial & Risk Management
• Monitor tariffs, duties, and foreign exchange impacts.
• Prepare profitability reports for each new market.
• Manage credit risks with overseas buyers.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹51,633.45 per month
