Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Internal Accountant located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The Internal Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s accounting operations. Day-to-day tasks include preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, maintaining general ledger entries, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, managing financial records, and assisting with audits and tax preparation. The role will require close collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy in financial reporting while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation of accounts
• Proficiency in tax preparation, compliance with financial regulations, and related processes
• Expertise in bookkeeping, maintaining general ledger entries, and use of accounting software
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
• Experience in internal audit processes or a similar role is an advantage
