Title: Interior Designer - Hospitality and Commercial projects

Location: Bandra, Mumbai

Experience: 3 - 5 years

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our design team, focusing on hospitality and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will assist in developing design concepts, preparing Interior or Architectural drawings, coordinating with consultants, and supporting project delivery from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of concept designs, schematic layouts, and detailed architectural drawings.
• Support design development and production of presentation materials, renderings, and mood boards.
• Produce accurate construction documentation, schedules, and specifications in line with project standards.
• Contribute creative ideas to enhance the spatial, aesthetic, and functional aspects of hospitality and commercial spaces.
• Collaborate closely with Senior Architects, Interior Designers, Engineers, and other consultants.
• Assist in coordination with clients, contractors, and vendors during various project stages.
• Support the team in site analysis, surveys, and preparation of as-built drawings.
• Participate in regular design and coordination meetings.
• Ensure design and documentation comply with local codes, accessibility standards, and sustainability guidelines.
• Assist in the preparation of approval submissions and permit drawings.
• Review shop drawings, material samples, and mock-ups as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Designing or Architecture (Master’s preferred)
• Experience with design development and documentation phases.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with rendering software (Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray, etc.) is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of architectural detailing, materials, and finishes.
• Excellent design sense, attention to detail, and spatial awareness.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet project deadlines under supervision
