Role Summary

Interior Designer


Core Responsibilities

1. Lead Handling & Client Conversion

  • Call and follow up with all new leads personally.
  • Qualify inquiries, explain our services, and convert them into design consultations.
  • Conduct site visits and requirement discussions.
  • Prepare and present tailored design proposals that suit client expectations and budgets.
  • Finalize scope, commercials, and design mandates for onboarding.

2. Client Coordination (Start to Finish)

  • Be the single point of contact for clients throughout the project journey.
  • Conduct all meetings: design briefings, presentations, approvals, and updates.
  • Build client trust and satisfaction through proactive communication and transparency.
  • Manage escalations, changes, and expectations smoothly during the project.

3. Design Development & Approvals

  • Prepare design concepts, layouts, mood boards, and 3Ds.
  • Ensure alignment with client brief, brand aesthetics, and functional goals.
  • Review and finalize BOQs, materials, and specifications.
  • Lead internal and client-facing design discussions to ensure buy-in and clarity.

4. Execution Oversight & Site Management

  • Own execution timelines, vendor coordination, and on-site quality.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to the design and standards.
  • Work closely with the execution team and resolve on-site challenges.
  • Monitor material procurement, budgets, and milestones.

5. Project Delivery & Handover

  • Ensure all design and execution work is completed as committed.
  • Conduct quality checks before final handover.
  • Gather client feedback and ensure closure of all snags.
  • Assist in collecting testimonials or showcasing the project in our portfolio.

6. Team Collaboration & Reporting

  • Delegate work to junior team members and vendors where applicable.
  • Maintain weekly progress reports, client communication logs, and financial trackers.
  • Share insights with leadership for continual improvement and scaling.

  • Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office, Photoshop. Bonus: Project Management Tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
