Instrumentation Engineer

The Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing automation and control systems across dairy processing, packaging, and utility operations to improve efficiency, safety, quality, and compliance.

• PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems

• Develop and modify automation logic for process optimization and energy efficiency.

• Ensure seamless integration between automation systems and plant equipment.

• Provide technical support for automation-related breakdowns and minimize downtime.

• Coordinate with maintenance and production teams during commissioning, upgrades, and shutdowns.

• Implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies for control systems.

• food safety standards (FSSAI, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP)

• Maintain documentation for validation, change management, and audits.

• Support traceability, data logging, and reporting requirements.

• new lines, capacity expansion, and retrofitting

• Drive digitalization initiatives such as MES integration, OEE monitoring, and energy management systems.

• Identify cost-saving and efficiency improvement opportunities through automation.

• Coordinate with OEMs, system integrators, and vendors for installation and troubleshooting.

• Review technical specifications, FAT/SAT, and commissioning activities.

• BE/BTech in  Instrumentation / Automation Engineering

• 2–6 years

• PLC (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider), HMI, SCADA

• CIP automation, batch processing, and packaging lines
