Institutional Sales Officer

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales strategies for institutional clients.
Identify new business opportunities and client segments.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in institutions.
Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
Provide post-sales support and ensure client satisfaction.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
Provide feedback to product and marketing teams for strategy refinement.
Coordinate with logistics, commercial, and plant teams for timely deliveries.
Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
Organize and participate in promotional campaigns and technical seminars.
Collaborate with marketing for branding and visibility initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
3 to 7 years of experience in institutional or project sales, preferably in the cement or building materials industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening.
Self-confidence and persuasiveness
Well-versed with topography of respective allotted Market areas in Chennai City.
Proficiency in MS Office
Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients
