Installation Engineer

Role Overview: The Installation Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and testing of DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) dispensers at customer sites across India. The engineer will also handle service requests, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair-related calls. This role requires strong technical skills, extensive travel, and direct interaction with customers. Key Responsibilities: Installation & Commissioning Install DEF dispensers at customer locations across India as per company standards. Conduct system testing, calibration, and commissioning after installation. Ensure proper site readiness, electrical connections, and operational safety before installation. Provide on-site training to customer representatives on machine usage and basic troubleshooting. Service & Troubleshooting Handle service calls, repair requests, and technical complaints received from customers. Diagnose issues related to pumps, nozzles, flow meters, PCB, motherboard, and other components. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of dispensers. Conduct video call support when required for quick resolution. Coordination & Documentation Coordinate with the service team, customer support team, and management for timely service closures. Maintain detailed service reports, installation documents, checklists, and customer acknowledgment. Update service logs and communicate status of calls regularly. Travel & Customer Interaction Travel extensively across India for installation and service assignments. Ensure professional communication with customers and maintain positive relationships. Represent the company during all site visits and provide technical guidance.
