Installation Engineer

As a Field Engineer for Bharti Airtel Limited, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting broadband and fiber connections to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction. Your duties will include handling installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks for broadband and fiber connections. You will also be required to conduct network testing, signal checks, and fault rectification at customer premises or field sites. Additionally, you will support the Network Operations (NOC) team in resolving connectivity and service issues, ensuring timely completion of installations and service requests, and maintaining accurate documentation for all tasks. Your responsibilities will involve coordinating with backend teams and vendors for issue escalation and resolution, conducting regular preventive maintenance to ensure service uptime and quality, and following Airtel's safety, quality, and operational standards. You will also be expected to provide technical assistance to customers during setup and usage, while meeting assigned performance metrics such as service uptime, response time, and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Required: - Education: Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or a related field. - Technical Skills: Basic understanding of networking, routers, and fiber optics. - Soft Skills: Good communication and customer-handling abilities.
