Inspection Supervisor

As an Inspection Supervisor, your role involves leading, coordinating, and supervising the daily activities of inspection teams. You will be responsible for assigning tasks to inspectors, monitoring their performance to ensure compliance with standards, and providing technical guidance, mentoring, and training to inspection staff. It is crucial to ensure that inspectors follow company policies, safety rules, and industry regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement inspection schedules, checklists, and procedures. - Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to minimize downtime during inspections. - Ensure timely execution of planned and unplanned inspections. - Verify compliance with safety regulations and quality requirements. - Review and approve inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and corrective actions. In terms of documentation and reporting, you will need to maintain accurate inspection records, logs, and certification documents. Additionally, preparing inspection summaries and presenting findings to management will be part of your responsibilities. Ensuring traceability and proper documentation of inspection results is essential for this role. Your technical expertise will be crucial as you interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and inspection standards. Identifying defects, deviations, and potential risks, and recommending corrective actions will be part of your responsibilities. Supporting root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives is also expected from you. Coordination with stakeholders is another important aspect of your role. You will need to liaise with clients, contractors, third-party inspectors, and regulatory authorities. Addressing inspection-related queries, resolving issues promptly, and participating in audits and external inspections when required are key responsibilities.
