Inspection Supervisor – Roles & Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Supervision

Lead, coordinate, and supervise the daily activities of inspection teams.

Assign tasks to inspectors and monitor performance to ensure compliance with standards.

Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to inspection staff.

Ensure inspectors follow company policies, safety rules, and industry regulations.

2. Inspection Planning & Coordination

Develop and implement inspection schedules, checklists, and procedures.

Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to minimize downtime during inspections.

Ensure timely execution of planned and unplanned inspections.

Verify compliance with safety regulations and quality requirements.

Review and approve inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and corrective actions.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate inspection records, logs, and certification documents.

Prepare inspection summaries and present findings to management.

Ensure traceability and proper documentation of inspection results.

5. Technical Expertise

Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and inspection standards.

Identify defects, deviations, and potential risks, and recommend corrective actions.

Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

6. Coordination with Stakeholders

Liaise with clients, contractors, third-party inspectors, and regulatory authorities.

Address inspection-related queries and resolve issues promptly.

Participate in audits and external inspections when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
