DESPATCH Shift Incharge

Here are the key roles and responsibilities:

1. Shift Operations Management

Supervise all dispatch activities during the assigned shift.

Allocate work to dispatch staff (loaders, drivers, forklift operators, etc.).

Monitor loading/unloading processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

2. Planning & Coordination

Coordinate with production, stores, and logistics teams to align dispatch schedules.

Plan vehicle allocation, routing, and sequencing of dispatches.

Ensure timely handover of goods to transporters or customers.

3. Documentation & Compliance

Verify dispatch documents: invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, packing lists.

Maintain accurate records of dispatched goods.

Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and safety norms.

4. Quality & Accuracy

Check packaging and labeling before dispatch.

Confirm correct quantity, SKU, and batch/lot numbers are being dispatched.

Reduce errors, damages, and returns.

5. People & Shift Management

Supervise and guide dispatch team members during the shift.

Ensure shift discipline, attendance, and productivity.

Provide on-the-job training where needed.

6. Safety & Housekeeping

Enforce workplace safety norms (PPE usage, safe loading practices).

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in dispatch and loading areas.

7. Reporting & Handover

Prepare daily shift reports (dispatch summary, issues, delays).

Communicate pending tasks and issues to the next shift incharge/manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
