DESPATCH Shift Incharge

As a Shift Operations Manager, your primary role is to oversee all dispatch activities during your assigned shift. This includes supervising dispatch staff, monitoring loading/unloading processes, and ensuring efficiency and accuracy in operations. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise all dispatch activities during the shift. - Allocate work to dispatch staff such as loaders, drivers, and forklift operators. - Monitor loading/unloading processes for efficiency and accuracy. - Coordinate with production, stores, and logistics teams to align dispatch schedules. - Plan vehicle allocation, routing, and sequencing of dispatches. - Verify dispatch documents including invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, and packing lists. - Maintain accurate records of dispatched goods. - Check packaging, labeling, quantity, SKU, and batch/lot numbers before dispatch. - Supervise and guide dispatch team members, ensuring shift discipline, attendance, and productivity. - Enforce workplace safety norms and maintain cleanliness in dispatch and loading areas. - Prepare daily shift reports including dispatch summary, issues, and delays. - Communicate pending tasks and issues to the next shift incharge/manager. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in operations management, preferably in a dispatch or logistics role. - Strong organizational and coordination skills. - Knowledge of documentation and compliance requirements. - Attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy in dispatch processes. - Leadership abilities to manage and guide a team effectively. - Understanding of safety protocols and housekeeping standards. - Excellent communication skills for reporting and handover processes.
