We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Inspection Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have overall responsibility to ensure that the inspection activities are carried out in accordance with ISO/IEC 17020 standards, ensuring all products meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. The person shall be technically competent and experienced in the operation of the inspection body.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, perform, and supervise inspection activities in accordance with ISO/IEC 17020 requirements.
• Ensure inspections are conducted with impartiality, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory and client requirements.
• Review inspection reports and prepare records and technical documentation.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with technical experts, clients, and regulatory authorities to resolve inspection-related issues.
• Support internal audits, external audits, and accreditation assessments.
• Participate in training, competence evaluation, and continual improvement activities.
• Assist in developing inspection methodologies, checklists, and technical guidelines.
• Ensure confidentiality, impartiality, and compliance with the inspection body’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education

  : Degree/Diploma or equivalent in the field of Textiles, Garments, Food Technology, or related discipline.

• Experience

  : Minimum 3–5 years of experience in inspection or regulatory compliance within the Textiles, Garments, Food Technology, or related discipline. Experience in Leather & Footwear products inspection will add an advantage.

• Knowledge

  : Strong understanding of ISO/IEC 17020 principles, AQL Standards, quality control, and strong product knowledge. Hands-on inspection and quality assurance experience.

• Technical Skills

  : Familiarity with inspection tools, measuring equipment, and product inspection procedures. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for reporting and documentation.

· Ability to work independently and travel for inspections, if required.

· Ability to analyse complex problems and provide solutions.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
