Inside Sales Head

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Inside Sales team to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

• Develop and implement strategies to generate qualified leads through telecalling, email campaigns, CRM follow-ups, and online platforms (IndiaMART, TradeIndia, LinkedIn, etc.).

• Monitor team performance, provide training, and ensure consistent achievement of KPIs.

• Collaborate with the field sales team for seamless lead handover and closure.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, OEMs, traders, and industrial buyers.

• Ensure accurate and timely updating of leads, opportunities, and sales reports in the CRM.

• Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to recommend improvements in sales approach.

• Work closely with the marketing team to design promotional campaigns and sales scripts.

• Maintain high standards of customer service and problem resolution to enhance client retention.

• Provide regular business performance updates to management with actionable insights.

Skills:

• Proven experience in leading inside sales teams, preferably in industrial products or capital goods.

• Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

• Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales analytics.

• Ability to handle high call volumes, manage multiple priorities, and deliver under pressure.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Inside Sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.

• Experience in industrial motors, machinery, or electrical equipment sales preferred.
