Job Description

Role Overview:

The Inside Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying potential customers, handling inbound and outbound sales inquiries, maintaining client relationships, and supporting the external sales team to achieve business growth and revenue targets. The role demands excellent communication skills, strong negotiation ability, and an understanding of the construction industry’s sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
  • Proactively identify and contact potential customers through calls, emails, and digital platforms.
  • Maintain and update the customer database (CRM) with accurate information.
  • Qualify leads based on project requirements, budgets, and timelines.
  • Customer Communication:
  • Handle inbound inquiries through phone calls, emails, and social media platforms.
  • Provide product, project, and service-related information to prospects.
  • Schedule appointments, site visits, or meetings for the field sales team when required.
  • Sales Follow-ups:
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective and existing clients.
  • Track and manage customer interactions and maintain records of sales activities.
  • Follow up on quotations, proposals, and project discussions to close deals.
  • Sales Support & Coordination:
  • Coordinate between clients and the field sales or project execution teams.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and relevant documentation.
  • Support the field sales team in achieving monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Market Intelligence:
  • Gather insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Share feedback and suggest improvement opportunities to the sales and management teams.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Maintain organized records of client interactions, project status, and sales progress.

Desired Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and handle objections effectively.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Basic understanding of construction and infrastructure project sales is preferred.
  • Self-motivated with a target-oriented approach.
  • Fluency in English, Kannada, and Hindi is an advantage.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Inside Sales, preferably in construction or infrastructure-related industries.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,766.90 - ₹37,987.22 per month
