Role Description

Responsible for overseeing injection molding operations, process control, manpower management, tool maintenance, quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end injection molding operations

• Ensure optimal utilization of machines, molds & manpower

• Control molding process parameters to ensure product quality

• Daily production planning as per customer schedules

• Improve cycle time, scrap reduction & productivity

• Lead new mold trials, validation & production release

• Coordinate with tool room for PM/BM

• Develop SOP/WI & ensure safety compliance

• Support APQP & PPAP activities

Technical Skills Required

• Injection molding process & troubleshooting

• Knowledge of automotive plastics

• Experience with hot runner, 2K molding (preferred)

• Material knowledge: PP, ABS, PC, Nylon, etc.

• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA

Education

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech – Mechanical / Plastics / Production

• Reporting to Plant Head / Operations Head
