Information Technology Administrator

As an IT Administrator at VE3, you will be at the heart of orchestrating a secure, scalable, and efficient digital workplace. You will lead the configuration, deployment, and management of client devices using Microsoft Intune, ensuring smooth operations across both frontend user environments and backend infrastructure. Your deep technical knowledge, proactive mindset, and automation-first approach will directly contribute to optimizing the employee experience and supporting our broader IT strategy.

Key ResponsibilitiesFrontend Workplace Management

• Manage remote administration of end-user devices.
• Oversee device lifecycle management, including onboarding, updates, and OS patching.

Workplace Applications

• Build and test client software packages and system images.
• Ensure reliable and efficient distribution of applications to all endpoints.

Client Virtualization Services

• Administer desktop and presentation virtualization platforms to optimize resource usage and accessibility.

Backend Workplace Management

• Maintain infrastructure supporting file shares, mail services, and printer configurations as part of the digital workplace environment.

Policy & Security Management

• Design, implement, and manage Group Policies and compliance baselines.
• Ensure robust endpoint protection including patching, antivirus/malware control, disk encryption, and firewall enforcement.

Operational & Strategic Initiatives

• Lead implementation and configuration of OSD (Operating System Deployment).
• Identify opportunities for automation and innovation in current systems and workflows.

Builds, Migrations & Upgrades

• Contribute to planning and execution of new builds, OS migrations, and system upgrades.

Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (ATP).
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, GPO, Azure AD, and modern device management practices.
• Solid understanding of Windows OS hardening, image creation, and lifecycle management.
• Skilled in managing and troubleshooting device drivers, OS imaging, and endpoint compliance.

Certifications

• Required:
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
• Preferred:
• AZ-104: Microsoft Certified – Azure Administrator Associate
• Additional certifications in MDM or network security.

General Skills

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal, written, and documentation skills.

Experience

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in device imaging, endpoint management, and Intune-based administration.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex MDM strategies and implementation plans.

Desirable Additions

• Experience managing iOS devices using Intune.
• Knowledge of encryption standards and network security protocols.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field (B.Sc., BCA, B.Tech./B.E.).
