Job Description

Information Security (1–2 Years Experience)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Information Security Analyst with 1–2 years of experience to support our IT security operations. The ideal candidate will assist in monitoring security systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and events using SIEM tools.
Assist in identifying, investigating, and resolving security incidents.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation with the IT team.
Support implementation and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and standards.
Perform user access reviews and ensure proper access control practices.
Assist in audits and compliance activities (ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC2 as applicable).
Participate in security awareness initiatives and training sessions.
Prepare reports, documentation, and incident summaries for internal teams.
Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
1–2 years of experience in information security or IT security roles.
Basic understanding of firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS, and network security concepts.
Hands-on exposure to SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Azure Sentinel, or similar).
Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS).
Understanding of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS controls).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Experience with incident response procedures.
Familiarity with endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
