Industrial Engineer

Role Overview: As a Maintenance Supervisor at the company, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated group of maintenance employees to ensure optimal resource utilization and timely delivery. Your role will involve driving efficiency and excellence in maintenance activities while contributing to a culture that values innovation, safety, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and schedule maintenance activities, collaborating with operations, quality, safety, and engineering teams. - Support and engage a technical workforce, swiftly solving problems and implementing sustainable solutions. - Propose and develop product and process enhancements to improve operations and customer service. - Effectively communicate across all organizational levels regarding safety, quality, productivity, and key performance indicators (KPIs). - Lead the training and development of your team to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge for success. - Drive continuous improvement in maintenance parameters such as asset utilization and work order completion. - Participate in budgeting processes, labor planning, and management of critical parts and tools inventory. - Ensure compliance with company safety program by conducting regular audits and enforcing compliance. - Maintain a safe and clean work environment, educating personnel on equipment's proper use and maintenance. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for actions and caring for colleagues and the business. - Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. - 10+ years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment. - Strong communication and leadership skills. - Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP. - Lean 6S certifications. - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required.
