Industrial Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Implement industrial engineering concepts to improve productivity and efficiency

2. Analyze techpacks and prepare Operation bulletins across all categories.

3. Analyze different constructions during development stage to reduce cost and to ensure production feasibility.

4. Reduce SAM using PMTS - Video Analysis/ Pro SMV/GSD across all categories .

5. Hands on experience in using work aids, folders and automations in manufacturing .

6. Collaborate with Sourcing to Negotiate CM based on SAM with vendors during allocation

7. Work on strategic projects to reduce SAM by automations and Process re-enginering .

8. Train IEs at factories and lead production team towards productivity enhancement

9. Support in setting up business allocation decision based on product/ performance based supply chain

10. Explore and develop training material for internal and external vendors/factories

11. Handhold and develope garment vendors to meet Blackberrys Quality standards.

12. Technical evaluation of vendors before on boarding.

13. Periodic assessment of factories and drive process excellence

14. Rate vendors based on seasonal quality performance

15. Lead Strategic projects with vendors as a part of Operational/ Manufacturing excellence

16. Inspection of Garments at Factories and WH when required.

17. Planning of inspections and Vendor management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Communication skills both written and verbal.

• Strong Knowledge in MS office

• Knowledge of PMTS-PRO SMV/GSD

• Planning , scheduling and reporting strengths

• Strong knowledge in Quality Tools/ Garment Manufacturing process

• Retail experience in menswear Brand Preferred
