What this role owns

• Convert product ideas into detailed CAD models and assemblies; iterate design intent through the development cycle.

• Engineer complete products by integrating custom parts with off‑the‑shelf components; evaluate materials and processes.

• Build and test models/prototypes; generate documentation for manufacturing and implementation.

• Drive DFM for plastics, sheet metal, and castings to improve quality, efficiency, and cost.

• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers; present designs and incorporate feedback.

Must‑haves

• 2–5 years in industrial/product design with strong CAD/CAM, surface and solid modeling.

• Proficiency in SolidWorks; familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and KeyShot for visualization.

• Proven DFM experience across plastics, sheet metal, and casting.

Nice‑to‑haves

• Exposure to EV/automotive assemblies and GD&T; vendor interaction and BOM structuring.
