Mission Convert senior engineers’ concepts into accurate, production-ready CAD so Kunstruct can move from idea to prototype at startup speed. Key Responsibilities Create parametric 3D models and 2D drawings (Fusion 360 / SolidWorks) with proper GD&T. Iterate designs rapidly with DFM/DFA feedback from engineering and vendors. Produce quick prototypes (3-D print, foam, sheet metal) for fit and ergonomics checks. Keep a well-organised library of STEP/STL files, drawings, BOM links, and render assets. Support cost-reduction by adjusting geometry, materials, or tolerances. Must-Have Qualifications B.Des / B.E. (Mechanical, Industrial Design, or equivalent) plus a solid portfolio. Working knowledge of basic FEA/tolerance analysis and at least one rapid-prototyping process. High execution speed, attention to detail, and a “tell me once, I’ll deliver” attitude. Mission Own end-to-end sourcing and supply for all electronic and mechanical parts—ensuring diverse components across multiple engineering domains arrive on spec, on time, and on budget. Key Responsibilities Issue RFQs, compare quotes, negotiate cost/lead-time, and raise POs for electronic and mechanical components. Maintain live BOMs with alternates, landed cost, and supplier scorecards; publish weekly variance reports. Track shipments, resolve courier/customs issues, and close invoices with finance. Perform first-pass bring-up on incoming assemblies (continuity checks, firmware flash, basic re-solder, torque/fit inspections). Build and continuously update a vendor database covering pricing, MOQs, lead-times, and compliance docs. Must-Have Qualifications Diploma/B.E. in ECE, EEE, Mechanical, Mechatronics, and similar qualifications or 1–3 yrs in cross-disciplinary procurement or NPI supply chain. Ability to read both schematics and mechanical drawings; familiarity with at least one PCB-CAD viewer/editor and STEP files. Good understanding of electronic and mechanical components. Vendor-management skills: negotiations, follow-ups, delivery documentation. Strong Excel/Google-Sheets skills and crisp written/verbal communication. Nice-to-Have Experience working with both local and/or overseas suppliers (e.g., PCB fabs, machine shops, plastics). Exposure to quality-auditing standards or cost-reduction projects.
