Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Indian Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience preparing a variety of traditional and contemporary Indian dishes, with a strong understanding of regional Indian cuisines, spices, and cooking techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes.
Plan and design menus that reflect Indian culinary traditions and seasonal availability.
Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per FSSAI or HACCP standards.
Innovate and update the menu with new dishes or fusion items as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Indian Chef or Cook.
Strong knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and cooking techniques (tandoor, curry, biryani, etc.).
Culinary degree or professional chef certification (preferred but not mandatory).
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
