Role & responsibilities Job Title: Sales Officer (B2B) Department: Sales Reporting To: Area Sales Manager 1. Job Purpose: To drive B2B sales by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction. 2. Key Responsibilities (KRAs): Lead Generation & Client Acquisition: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the B2B segment. Build a pipeline of potential clients and convert them into long-term partners. Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve assigned targets. Conduct market research to identify industry trends and customer needs. Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business. Provide after-sales support and address client concerns effectively. Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to close deals successfully. Ensure timely collection of payments from clients. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and competitor analysis. Monitor market trends and suggest improvements in sales strategies. 3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Sales Target Achievement (%) New Client Acquisition Rate Customer Retention Rate (%) Revenue Growth (%) Conversion Rate of Leads to Deals (%) Payment Collection Timeliness 4. Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in B2B sales. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 5. Skills & Competencies: Strong communication and negotiation skills. Excellent client relationship management. Ability to analyse data and trends. Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
