Job Summary :
We are seeking a senior finance leader to head our India Finance organization (~150 professionals) based in Bengaluru. Reporting to the Enterprise CFO (US) and the India Country Leader, this leader will drive end-to-end finance operations, ensure statutory compliance, and lead a high-performing team across accounting, FP&A, controllership, tax, and procurement.
The role requires a strategic, hands-on leader with deep experience in large, multifunctional finance organizations, proven expertise in process improvement, automation, and AI/digital finance transformation, and strong stakeholder management skills across global and local teams. The individual will partner closely with US finance leadership to align on global priorities while ensuring compliance, governance, and operational excellence in India. This is a high-impact role for a leader who can transform the India finance function into a center of excellence and a trusted strategic partner to enterprise leadership.
Strategic Financial Leadership

Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with global and local business goals.

Advise the Country Leader and country leadership team on financial planning, capital allocation, and investment decisions.

Lead financial transformation initiatives including automation, AI integration, and digital modernization.
Financial Operations & Compliance
- Oversee all finance functions: accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, procurement, and controllership with an emphasis on leadership of a large transactional accounting workforce (A/P, A/R and Billing) .
- Ensure full statutory, regulatory, and internal control compliance.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Business Partnership & Growth Enablement

Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive business performance and profitability.

Support M&A activities, post-merger integration, and business case development.

Provide financial insights to guide strategic decisions and operational execution.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead a team of 15 0 finance professionals

- Mentor and coach finance leaders and emerging talent .
Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate financial performance and strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage investor relations and board-level financial reporting.
- Collaborate with US and India leadership on global finance strategy and operational execution.
Qualifications
- CA, CPA, or MBA (Finance) required .
- 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in global/multinational organizations , preferably in the professional services industry , to include a large transactional accounting workforce
- 5+ years in a leadership role in a professional services firm/Big4/Accounting industry firm
- Proven track record in finance transformation, process optimization, and digital finance.
- Deep understanding of Indian statutory compliance and global financial governance , including working with Auditors and Tax authorities in India
- Strong interpersonal , communication and influencing skills
