Job Opportunity: Incoming Quality Control

Qualification: B.Sc. / M.Sc. / B.Pharma / M.Pharma.
Location: Wada, Maharashtra
Experience: 4–6 Years (Pharma / Formulation Plant)

We are seeking an experienced Raw Material Section In-charge to oversee the complete handling, testing, and release of APIs & excipients used in pharmaceutical manufacturing, ensuring compliance with pharmacopeial standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sampling & Receipt

• Receive and verify raw material intimation from warehouse.
• Ensure GMP-compliant sampling under controlled environments (where applicable).
• Label samples accurately and maintain sampling logbooks.
• Conduct composite and individual sampling as per SOPs.

2. Testing & Analysis

• Perform physicochemical testing of raw materials as per IP/BP/USP/Ph. Eur. or in-house specifications.
• Conduct tests including Identification (FTIR/UV/chemical), Assay, pH, LOD, Sulphated ash, Heavy metals, etc.
• Cross-check vendor COAs and resolve discrepancies.

3. Documentation & Release

• Record results in analytical reports/raw data sheets.
• Prepare COA for approved raw materials.
• Maintain logbooks, registers, and worksheets as per data integrity (ALCOA+).
• Coordinate with QA for release tagging of materials.

4. Compliance & Audit Readiness

• Ensure adherence to cGMP, GLP, and Schedule M requirements.
• Support OOS/OOT investigations and CAPA implementation.
• Assist during regulatory and internal audits (USFDA, MHRA, WHO-GMP).

5. Instrument Handling

• Operate & maintain FTIR, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Karl Fischer, pH meter, melting point apparatus, water bath, and analytical balance.
• Ensure calibration and preventive maintenance of instruments.

Job Requirements:

• Experience: 4–6 years in raw material section (pharma formulation plant only).
• Strong knowledge of raw material sampling, testing, and release processes.
• Hands-on expertise in instrument handling and pharmacopeial analysis.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
