Import Specialist (3–4 Years Experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Import Specialist with hands-on experience in handling China imports, coordinating with suppliers, and managing shipments. The role requires strong control over end-to-end import operations, including documentation, shipment tracking, customs compliance, and cost analysis. You will also be responsible for developing a new product pipeline, identifying potential suppliers, evaluating product feasibility, and making sure that you communicate smoothly with overseas vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete import cycle from China, including documentation, duties, and customs clearance. • Coordinate pricing, product specs, packaging, negotiations, and sample approvals with suppliers.

• Track sea/air shipments and coordinate with freight forwarders and customs agents.

• Maintain landing cost sheets, profitability data, and shipment trackers.

• Research new products, evaluate suppliers, and benchmark competitor brands.

• Apply strong dropshipping workflow knowledge for fulfillment and product flow.

• Handle Alibaba B2B accounts, RFQs, supplier communication, and finalizing orders.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–4 years of import experience (China import experience is mandatory).

• Strong understanding of HS codes, duties, and compliance requirements.

• Experience managing Alibaba B2B accounts and international suppliers.

• Strong negotiation and costing skills.

• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for tracking and cost calculations.

Preferred

• Experience in motorcycle/automotive accessories with knowledge of competitor brands

• Experience in e-commerce imports, manufacturing, or dropshipping workflows.

• Strong knowledge of compliance requirements.
